Privacy Policy

Sensitive data. Your date, time, and place of birth are treated as sensitive personal information. We use them only to compute your chart and generate your report.

What we collect: nickname, birth date, birth time (optional), birth timezone, relationship context you choose to share, and your email address.

Marketing email is strictly opt-in. Your report-delivery email is transactional and separate from any marketing consent.

Site usage statistics. Separately from your reading, we measure how the site is used — which pages get visited, where people leave, and which link brought someone here — so we can improve it and know which of our posts people actually come from. We use PostHog for this, processed in the United States under a data processing agreement. Your birth details and the text of your reading are never sent there, and report links are stripped of their identifying token before any page is recorded. (Your birth details are of course used to calculate your chart and write your reading — that is what they are for, and it happens on our own systems.)

So that your visits and your order can be recognised as belonging to one person rather than several strangers, we send PostHog a scrambled code derived from your email address — never the address itself. The code cannot be turned back into your email, and it is specific to us, so it cannot be matched against any other company's records. You can opt out with your browser's “Do Not Track” setting, or by emailing us.

Who else processes your data. All of our processors are outside Korea, in the United States:

Retention & deletion. We keep your data until you ask us to delete it, and we act on that request within 10 days. Korean commerce law requires us to keep contract and payment records for 5 years, and consumer complaint records for 3 years, separately from your birth data.
